LANCASTER, S.C. — The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help identifying a man accused of armed robbery at a convenience store.
Deputies say the suspect entered the The Forks Convenience Store just after noon on Saturday and fled on foot with stolen cash.
According to investigators, the man was seen waiting outside the store near a fuel tank and sitting on crates before entering once all customers had left. He then approached the clerk with a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a black male standing between six feet two inches and six feet four inches tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a two-tone gray Nike hoodie with the hood pulled up, black pants and black Nike Air Force One shoes. He also wore black gloves and a black mask that covered most of his face.
No shots were fired during the encounter and the store clerk was not injured.
Following the robbery, a K-9 team and members of the SWAT Team initiated a search but were unable to locate the robber.
