CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Mexican low-cost carrier is bringing twice-weekly international flights to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Volaris will add direct service at CLT to Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) beginning Nov. 22, marking a new international destination at the Charlotte airport.

Volaris said in a press release sent to CBJ that the new route represents an expansion of its international flight offerings and diversification of its point-to-point connection network between Mexico and the U.S.
