MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The Mooresville-based home-improvement company Lowe's has announced it will add more than 65,000 jobs this year.

The company announced it is adding 50,000 seasonal positions and 10,000 permanent workers to focus on inventory.

It is also adding 6,000 assistant store managers as well as 2,000 technology jobs.
This comes after several rounds of layoffs nationwide in 2018.
