ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — A man aimed an assault rifle at the Anson County courthouse Thursday morning, the sheriff told Channel 9 anchor Liz Foster.
Deputies approached the man and asked him what he wanted, officials said.
The man then asked what was going on upstairs, deputies said. They told him nothing was going on, and the man turned and left.
Deputies identified the man in the surveillance video as Kurtis Russel. He was arrested at his Vintage Road home around 2 p.m.
