CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man wanted on outstanding federal warrants is now in the Mecklenburg County Jail after Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers arrested him at the PGA Championship.
Officials said an officer recognized Lamont Hampton Tuesday at Quail Hollow Club.

He was arrested shortly after on the outstanding federal warrants.
The details of those warrants are still unclear and Channel 9 is working to find out what crimes Hampton has been accused of.
