CHARLOTTE — A person has died after being hit by a vehicle in north Charlotte Thursday night.
The incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. on Statesville Road near Lake Road.

According to MEDIC, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
However, details remain limited at this time. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating.
