MINNEAPOLIS — Three people are dead, and several others were injured, including two Minneapolis police officers, after a shooting Wednesday afternoon at an apartment building in downtown Minneapolis.
Police said four people were found with gunshot wounds inside the Loring Tower apartment building near 15 East Grant Street.

Two officers were shot while responding to the gunfire. One was shot in the stomach and was in stable condition after surgery, while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A third officer was also injured.
A source told KTSP that the suspect died by suicide. Police said officers had responded to the apartment earlier Wednesday for a disturbance involving the suspect, who was evicted from the building that day.
