BROOKFORD, N.C. — Joshua Ray Begley, the man accused of killing a Catawba County veteran and burying him in his own backyard, is now in custody.
It’s not clear where investigators arrested him.
Channel 9 reported the Brookford Police Department connected Begley to the death of Claude Wayne “Doc” Holsclaw.

Holsclaw was reported missing nearly one month ago.
Last week police found his body buried on his property.
Begley is facing murder and concealing a death charges.
