NC Attorney General against proposed changes to federal food assistance program

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein joined 23 other states opposed to proposed changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Currently, if a family gets food stamps, their kids automatically enter a federal program for free breakfast and lunch at school.
