CHARLOTTE, N.C. — North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper will be in Charlotte Tuesday, discussing a new program aimed to help community college students finish their training.
Cooper will be talking about this new program with Central Piedmont Community College students.

Starting this upcoming school year, $7 million in federal funds will be available.
Channel 9 first reported on the Finish Line Grant Program on July 12.
Students can receive up to $1,000 per semester for financial emergencies such as child care and auto work.
