New case of measles reported in Mecklenburg County

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — There is another case of the measles in Mecklenburg County.

The division of public health updated the case numbers Tuesday, saying Mecklenburg County now has three cases.

There’s a total of 14 in the state.

Of those, only one person is over the age of 18.

South Carolina is reporting 89 new cases of measles, bringing the total number of cases to 789.
