New SouthPark restaurant cooks up modern American spin

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chef Daniel Wheeler brings his take on modern American dining to SouthPark.

Fine & Fettle opens for dinner service on Monday, offering a farm-to-table service that features locally and sustainably sourced ingredients.

“Fine & Fettle is more than a restaurant for me. It’s a means for my team to help strengthen our community. Working with local farmers and artisans daily we hope to build a strong foundation of relationships that will allow us to participate in community driven activities and provide opportunities for us to learn and grow together,” Wheeler says.

The restaurant is located inside boutique lifestyle hotel Canopy Charlotte SouthPark — the first property for that Hilton flag in Charlotte and the Carolinas.

Wheeler, most recently executive chef at Dot Dot Dot, aims to deliver a modern — yet approachable experience. Think coffeehouse by day and an intimate gastro lounge at night.
