Noise cameras under consideration to curb modified vehicle noise in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte leaders are gearing up to tackle the disruptive noise from modified vehicles often used in street takeovers.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and council members will discuss potential solutions, including the use of noise cameras, during an upcoming Public Safety Committee meeting on Monday night.
