CHARLOTTE — Lawmakers in North Carolina are considering a plan to cap property tax levies.
The constitutional amendment would keep inflation from impacting property taxes too much.

Currently, it has bipartisan support, according to the Morganton News Herald.
If lawmakers approve it, voters will decide its fate on the November ballot.
