Overnight house fire in north Charlotte under investigation

CHARLOTTE — Crews are investigating the cause of an overnight north Charlotte house fire Thursday.

It broke out on Gibbon Road, just off Nevin Road, around 2:30 a.m.

Charlotte Fire says it took 30 firefighters about 40 minutes to get it under control. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The cause is under investigation.
