CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A tractor-trailer driver was speeding down an Interstate 77 ramp Monday morning when the vehicle overturned, blocking all four lanes, troopers said.
The Sysco truck was driving about 40 to 45 mph on the ramp to merge onto I-77 south at Exit 18 Harris Boulevard when its load shifted and the truck overturned, troopers said.

The crash happened during rush hour just before 9 a.m. and the road reopened around noon.
Officers shut down traffic at exit 19 and rerouted drivers to I-485 or off on exit 18.
Troopers told Channel 9 that it is amazing no other cars were hit.
Crews worked to drain the fuel and clean up the leaking diesel from the truck.
Medic took the driver to the hospital to be checked out for minor injuries.
The driver was cited for speeding, officials said.
“You've got to take speed into account,” Trooper Walter Williamson said. “You’ve got to be a little slower to make it through there safely.”
