Panthers Xavier Woods rises to the challenge

CHARLOTTE — The Carolina Panthers defense has had to adjust to losing two of its playmakers in the first two weeks of the season for a significant amount of time, including linebacker Shaq Thompson and cornerback Jaycee Horn.
