CHARLOTTE — A person has been seriously hurt after being hit by a car in southeast Charlotte Friday evening.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Independence Boulevard near Sardis Road.

MEDIC said the victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
