CONCORD, N.C. — A person was shot Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex near Concord Mills, police said.
Officers responded around 2 p.m. to the Lily Green Apartments right across from the mall.

Police said they’re trying to figure out what direction they took off in.
Police said a person was shot but is expected to be OK.
Witnesses told officers the two suspects left the area in a White Toyota Camry.
Officers said they believe the victim and suspects know each other.
