CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a person was shot at a home in Derita.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. Friday on Statesville Road near Cindy Lane.
Officials said the victim has life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Officers with CMPD said they have not made any arrests.
No other information has been released at this time.
