Road closures set for Concord’s Bunny Run 5K

CONCORD, N.C. — The annual Bunny Run 5K and Festival returns to downtown Concord this weekend, and that means several road closures to keep runners safe, according to the Independent Tribune.

Starting at 7 a.m., McCachern Boulevard will be closed between Cabarrus Avenue and Means Avenue. Both lanes of Union Street South, from Corban Avenue to Tribune Avenue, will also be shut down.

The festival is free to attend and will feature a special appearance from the Easter Bunny. The race begins at 8 a.m.
