CHARLOTTE — This weekend, Charlotte’s new car company is hosting a fall kickoff festival.
Scout Motors will hold its Harvester Festival at Camp North End in north Charlotte on Saturday.
The iconic 60s and 70s SUV brand is making new models and announced last year that its headquarters will be in Charlotte.

At the festival, there will be bands, barbecue, and more, as a way to introduce Scout Motors to the neighborhood.
“We made our announcement, doing our business, hiring people, getting down to it, so it’s to put our flag in the ground,” Scout Motors CEO Scott Keogh said.
The Scout Harvester Festival runs from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Saturday at Camp North End.
