CHARLOTTE — A French bulldog is back with his owner almost a year after someone stole her car with the dog inside.

Last April, Jayla Gittens was packing her car outside her Plaza Midwood apartment to move across town when someone took her car and her canine, Julio.
The thieves were ordered to return Julio by Friday, court documents said.
Animal control found Julio Tuesday outside the facility.
