CHARLOTTE — A 17-year-old was shot last week outside the locked gates of the overlook at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, according to a police report.
The shooting happened shortly after 2 a.m. Friday. The airport overlook closes at 10 p.m. and is locked.
The teen was seriously injured, the report indicated.
The police report lists three unknown suspects, and the shooting appears to be random.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
