Uptown restaurant eyes reopening after 2019 fire

CHARLOTTE — Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen expects to reopen in May — roughly 20 months after a three-alarm fire shuttered the restaurant.

Hiring is ongoing for front- and back-of-house positions. Rooster’s is located in the 1 Bank of America Center building on North College Street.

“We are getting close. It’s been a long road,” says Jim Noble, chef and owner. “We’re just very fortunate and blessed we’re able to open back up soon.”
