Uptown road closures scheduled for utility project at Hornets practice facility

The Novant Health Performance Center in Uptown is beginning to take shape.

CHARLOTTE — Closures will begin Thursday on a portion of North Davidson Street for a new utility project in Uptown.

Crews are working to install gas service for the new Hornets practice facility.

The road will close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Trade and Fifth streets each day through Nov. 7.

Drivers can use North Caldwell Street instead.
