6 accused in death of North Carolina high school student

WILSON, N.C. — Six teenagers have been charged in the death of a North Carolina high school student at a convenience store over the summer.

The Wilson Daily Times reports police haven't revealed a motive or circumstances involving the July 20 shooting death of 16-year-old Luis Flores-Bravo. He attended Beddingfield High School and was involved in Junior ROTC.

Wilson police announced Friday that three 18-year-olds, a 17-year-old and 16-year-old were all charged with first-degree murder and attempted robbery and are being held without bond. Police Sgt. Steve Stroud said a 15-year-old also was charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. Officials say his bond hearing is Monday.
