HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.,None — One of Charlotte Area Transit System's busiest park and ride locations is bigger now. CATS just opened more than 100 new parking spots at the Huntersville Gateway Lot on Statesville Road.
The city council voted to fund these spots more than a year ago. People were illegally parking at nearby business and getting ticketed or towed.
Now there are a total of 311 parking spaces.
