CHARLOTTE — Lanes have reopened along I-85 South and West W.T. Harris Boulevard where police are now investigating a homicide in north Charlotte.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it happened Thursday night, with officers responding to a crash just before 10 p.m.
When they arrived, they found one person shot. Christopher Alexander Arrojo, 29, later died at the hospital.
Police arrested Marquail Antonio Burris, 24, and charged him with murder. He was also charged with hit and run and damage to property and carrying a concealed gun.
