CHARLOTTE — A northeast Charlotte shooting on Tuesday afternoon is now being investigated as a homicide, police said.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Tom Hunter Road near North Tryon Street at around 2:30 p.m. for an assault with a deadly weapon call.

Paramedics took the shooting victim, who had life-threatening injuries, to a local hospital earlier. That person died.
An argument led to the deadly shooting.
No additional details have been made available.
