2 more suspects arrested after man killed in southwest Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE — Two more suspects have been arrested after a man was killed in a shooting on Aug. 6 in southwest Charlotte -- bringing the total number of suspects involved in the crime to 5.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on Aug. 6 on Holliswood Court, which is off South Tryon Street near West Arrowood Road.

The victim was identified as 22-year-old Terrik Rashad Roddey.

Christian Elijah Boetius, 26, was charged with murder, two counts of discharging a barreled weapon or firearm into occupied property, and two counts of discharging a barreled weapon or firearm into occupied conveyance in operation.

Cyrene Uzziah Wilson-Johnson, 22, charged with murder, two counts of discharging a barreled weapon or firearm into occupied property, and two counts of discharging a barreled weapon or firearm into occupied conveyance in operation.

Joseph Morris Truesdale, 25, was charged with murder, two counts of discharging a barreled weapon or firearm into occupied property, two counts of discharging a barreled weapon or firearm into occupied conveyance in operation, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On Tuesday, police named 23-year-old Deneirrean Treshun Brake and 26-year-old Deandre Casshun Brake as additional suspects in the shooting.

Both men have been charged with murder, two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
