YORK COUNTY, N.C. — One person was killed in a head-on crash in York County Sunday afternoon.
Troopers say it happened just before 1 p.m. on Horde Road, near the intersection of Turkey Creek Road.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Ram pickup truck and a Honda Accord were traveling in different directions when the two drivers collided head on.
The driver of the Honda was identified as 29-year-old Daryn Hill. He was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital.
No one else was involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
