CHARLOTTE — One person was seriously hurt and hospitalized after a shooting in a busy section of the Plaza Midwood neighborhood.
MEDIC confirmed one person was shot near Central and Pecan avenues around 7 p.m. Friday in east Charlotte.
A Channel 9 crew spotted multiple Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers investigating near a section of Pecan Avenue in between Fuel and milkbread.
Police haven’t released any details about the shooting yet. It’s not clear if a suspect is wanted or in custody.
