HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — Officials with the Henderson County Department of Public Health told ABC affiliate WLOS that 72 COVID-19 cases have been linked to a Christmas celebration held by Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
A statement from the church reads in part:
“With a strong sense of unity, our ministers and deacons have decided to put our church on a thirty-day pause in regard to on-site worship. This also includes all ministry activities.”
