GASTONIA, N.C.,None — A man with one leg was told police a man attacked and robbed him in downtown Gastonia on Thursday night.
The man said he had been visiting friends Thursday evening and was going home when he was attacked. He was able to give police a description of his attacker.
Brian Keith Long was arrested a short time later. He is scheduled to have a bond hearing Friday.
The victim, who said he wants to remain nameless, said he could not believe someone would attack him, but also said he forgives his attacker.
