Another apartment complex on the way for South End

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A corner of South Church and West Bland streets in South End will be redeveloped to make way for apartments.

Haven Communities, Wheelock Street Capital and Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group in December acquired the 1.9-acre site at the intersection’s southeast corner, at 1415 S. Church St. The site today contains two small office buildings, which will be demolished to make way for the new development, said Drew Barnette, director of Patterson Real Estate’s Charlotte office.
