CHARLOTTE — Redevelopment may be coming to the Alpine Ski Center site on East Boulevard in Dilworth.
A pre-submittal document filed with the city of Charlotte calls for the demolition of the existing building, at 1501 East Blvd., and development of a mixed-use, live-work project.
The filing mentions first-floor retail space, a two-story restaurant and loft units on the second floor but Terry Ickowicz, who is with a real estate partnership that’s considering redevelopment, said no plans have been developed yet.
The half-acre parcel, at the corner of East Boulevard and Fountain View, is owned by Banner Elk-based Alpine Recreation.
