CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department seized firearms and narcotics from a suspect’s car and home after a recent traffic stop.
The department says it adds up to two guns, suspected cocaine, marijuana and MDMA, and $40,000.
According to officers, the suspect, Derrick Pope, was already wanted for a previous case.
Now he’s also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, drug possession and trafficking cocaine.
