As Ballantyne pub closes, restaurant group eyes new concept

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Bottle Cap Group has shuttered its Ballantyne pub in favor of a new venture.

The Charlotte restaurant group says Monday was the last day for Brazwells Premium Pub.

It operated at 11318 N. Community House Road for three years.

A new concept, called The Gibson, will take its place after interior and exterior renovations.

It is slated to open in mid-September, with a grand opening the following month, says Morgan Conroy, marketing director.
