CHARLOTTE — Brown Bag Seafood Co. marked the official opening of its uptown restaurant this week — the brand’s third location to open in the Charlotte market in the last six months.
The fast-casual seafood chain’s 2,756-square-foot restaurant is at the Ally Charlotte Center, 601 S. Tryon St. That location has in-store and patio dining as well as take-out and delivery service.
Brown Bag founder and CEO Donna Lee started the concept in Chicago in 2014. The chain is known for its quick, fresh and sustainably sourced seafood. Its restaurants serve the same high-quality seafood found at a white-tablecloth restaurant — just in a quick-service setting.
