Cabarrus County teen given special duty for UGA football grudge match

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.C. — A Cabarrus County teenager will get to see his dream come true.

Ethan Ford, 17, lives with cerebral palsy. He’s a student at Mount Pleasant High School who dreams of one day becoming a sports commentator for the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

This weekend, Ford is getting a special surprise: He will lead the undefeated Bulldogs into their stadium for their rivalry matchup against Georgia Tech.

Ford’s grandfather thanked the organization that made it possible, Dream On 3.

“This is such a great experience, the community, the school, Dream On three,” he said.
