Carolina Panthers cancel practices due to weather, safety concerns

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Carolina Panthers have announced that their practices for Thursday have been canceled.

The reason for the cancelation is due to weather and safety concerns.

It was the team’s last training camp and they will practice in Charlotte for the remainder of the summer leading up to the regular season, according to the Associated Press.

The Panthers said the practice will not be rescheduled.

The Jets and Panthers will meet Saturday in a preseason game at Bank of America in Charlotte.

Despite the cancellation, the Jets plan to practice on their own later Thursday morning at Gibbs Stadium on Wofford’s campus, according to the Associated Press.
