CHARLOTTE — CATS wants to make sure buses are more reliable for customers.
CATS is asking for feedback about multiple bus routes for its Better Bus Initiative. Changes go into effect this October.
CATS has been working to improve safety following violent incidents on the light rail and buses.
Several changes include more off-duty officers, better communication with riders, expanded announcements, and faster response and escalation procedures.
