CHARLOTTE — CATS is celebrating Charlotte’s industrial textile history with the naming of its new Blue Line Station in South End.
It will be named Atherton Mill Station.
It’s a callback to the first factory built in Dilworth and Charlotte’s first streetcar.
CAT’s CEO Brent Cagle says the station will bring new connections to neighbors and visitors in the Queen City.
