CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) announced it will offer free fare as residents head to the polls on Election Day.
All bus, LYNX Blue Line, Gold Line and paratransit services will be free of charge on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
CATS hopes the move provides easier access to polling locations.
