CHARLOTTE — Charlotte’s housing market saw something unusual occur for this time of year — a drop in new listings.
New listings across the 16-county Charlotte region fell 3.7% year over year in May — the first time that has happened since November 2025, according to Canopy Realtor Association’s newly released monthly report on housing activity. The reports are based on Canopy MLS data.
