CHICAGO, I.L. — Charlotte FC beat Chicago Fire FC, 3-2, Saturday night in another high stakes matchup.
The match came after a win over New York City FC last week.
Charlotte is 8-13-1 in the Eastern Conference and is 11-2-17 overall with 35 points. It was the second time Chicago and Charlotte have met this season, with Chicago winning the first match by a score of 3-2.
Charlotte sat 11th in the playoff standings going into the night and stays in playoff contention with the victory.
