CONCORD, N.C. — Dozens of corvettes rolled into Hendrick Motorsports Saturday as part of the annual Corvette Angels Toy Drive.
It’s put on by Charlotte’s Road Runner Vettes Corvette Club.
The event benefits the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program, which makes sure kids in need still experience the excitement of opening a holiday gift.
Around 1,000 toys are donated every year through this event.
Since 2011, organizers have collected more than 13,000 toys.
