5 hurt, including 4 students, in Mooresville crash involving school bus, officials say

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Five people are hurt, including four students, after a crash involving a school bus and two vehicles in Mooresville Wednesday afternoon.

Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the collision, where several police and paramedics could be seen on Avalon Reserve Drive and Landis Highway.

Officials said a school bus coming from Mooresville Intermediate School was involved in the crash.

The four students had injuries not considered life-threatening. Three students were treated at the scene and one was taken to a local hospital, according to officials. A child from one of the other vehicles was taken to Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte with non-life-threatening injuries.

Channel 9 has reached out to police for more information, but has heard back at this point.

Authorities have not said what led to the crash.
