City council to hear from people vying to become Charlotte’s interim mayor

CHARLOTTE — On Monday, Charlotte City Council will hear from people vying to become the city’s interim mayor.

City leaders say the applicants are invited to address the council for two minutes.

The meeting starts at 2 p.m. in the Government Center.

The city says 69 people are eligible for the role.
